We do not conduct any sleep studies in our facilities. However, we can refer you to an accredited Ontario Sleep Laboratory.

We are able to provide a rental of the in-home device for patients who require an in-home sleep screening. You must have a valid prescription from a licensed medical practitioner for an in-home test and make an appointment with one of our CPAP Consultants to go over the device procedures.

Yes, walk-ins are welcome! However, we do recommend you to make an appointment ahead of time as our CPAP Consultants may be assisting other patients. To ensure that all patients are given the proper time and service, we encourage you to make an appointment ahead of time.

Although appointments are highly encouraged, it is not required. We recommend you make an appointment ahead of time to ensure that our CPAP consultant has enough time to assist your needs. A typical CPAP appointment is approximately 60-90 minutes.

CPAP/APAP/BiLevel are prescriptive medical devices. Yes, you require a valid prescription from a Sleep Physician in order to purchase a CPAP machine.

We offer monthly rentals for those who are prescribed with a trial through their Sleep Specialist. Rental fees are charged by the month, beginning on the start date. Rental fees can apply to the purchase price.

We advise our clients to clean their mask, tubing, and water chamber weekly with warm water and a mild unscented soap, or sooner if you’re prone to skin irritations or sickness.

All of our products are authentic, brand new, and sealed by the manufacturer. We do not sell refurbished or opened items.

Returns and refunds

All CPAP, BiPAP, APAP, and Humidifiers are considered medical equipment and cannot be returned once the parcel has been opened, whether the unit shows hours of usage or not.

Under Health Canada and FDA regulations it states that any nasal interface products removed from its original packaging is no longer refundable. MRC Sleep offers a 30-day mask satisfaction guarantee which allows patients who feel that their masks are not optimal for their therapy a one-time exchange


Most manufacturers offer up to 3-year warranty on their products (CPAP, BiPAP and APAP) and a 1-year warranty on humidifiers. Decisions for repair or replacement under the manufacturer warranty period are made solely by the manufacturer. Any misuse of the equipment may void the warranty. Please contact us should there be any issues with the device within the warranty period.

Machines (CPAP, BiPAP, APAP) and humidifiers, which are experiencing functional issues and are no longer under manufacturer warranty may be able to be repaired by the manufacturer for a fee. This policy varies with manufacturers. Please contact us if you wish to send your device in for repair.


We accept cash, debit/Interac, and most major credit cards.

There are no sales taxes charged on medical products.


Many extended healthcare plans and policies offer coverage for CPAP devices and accessories. Our CPAP Consultants can help you prepare a quotation and documentation to confirm your coverage.

Yes, some Insurance companies provide direct billing.

Assistive Devices Program (ADP)

ADP is Ontario’s Assistive Devices Program which offers eligible Ontario residents monetary assistance by subsidizing respiratory equipment and supplies for long-term medical care including respiratory equipment and supplies. For more information on ADP, see here.

MRC Sleep is a registered ADP vendor licensed by Ontario’s Ministry of Health which permits us to sell CPAP / APAP / BiLevel devices and acquire partial funding for our clients who are eligible for ADP.

Our CPAP Consultants will assist you through the entire process and the documentation for the ADP application.
